Council Meeting

That the agenda dated January 23, 2024, be confirmed, as circulated.

That the minutes of the regular meeting of Council, held on December 12, 2023, be approved as presented.

That item 8.1 be approved, and the recommendations contained therein be adopted.

That items 9.1 to 9.5 be received for information.

That Chief Administrative Office Report 2024-11 be received; and That the by-law By to Authorize Entering into an Agreement with 2635450 Inc. regarding the Comprehensive Community Improvement Plan Main Street CIPA Financial Incentive Programs Property Tax Increment Grant be approved.

That Chief Administrative Office Report 2024-12 be received; and That the by-law attached as Appendix B, being a by-law to enter into the Comprehensive Community Improvement Plan Downtown Community Improvement Project Area Agreement with Landscape Depot (Niagara Falls) LTD attached as Schedule A to the by-law, be approved. That the by-law attached as Appendix B, being a by-law to enter into the Agreement attached as Schedule A to the by-law, being an agreement with Landscape Depot (Niagara Falls) LTD for the Tax Increment-Based Grant (TIG) in the Downtown Community Improvement Project Area (CIPA) under the Comprehensive Community Improvement Plan (CIP), be approved.

That Corporate Services Department Report 2024-02 be received.

That the correspondence item received from the Niagara Region regarding 2024 Water and Wastewater Operating Budget, Rate Setting and Requisition be received.

That the correspondence item received from the Township of Clearview regarding Cemetery Transfer/Abandonment Administration & Management Support be supported; and That the correspondence item be further circulated to MPP Jeff Burch, MPP Sam Oosterhoff, MPP Jennifer Stevens, and MPP Wayne Gates.

That items 21.1 to 21.5 be enacted and passed, as presented.
